An application to automate administration of Unison's education programme, collecting course survey results and issuing personalised certificates to Unison activists upon completion of courses.

We needed tech solutions designed to meet our unique needs: tech that our members and activists could use easily, that would assist communication among staff and not feel like another layer of complexity, that would work seamlessly across all devices, that would capture important data we haven't been able to capture effectively and - very importantly - was not ugly!
We wanted to automate some of the administration around our education programme and bring all data about the quality and attendance at courses together - from sending online evaluation forms to each member by email when courses were completed, collecting feedback into a central database, issuing signed and personalised certificates and providing monthly analytics on what courses were popular for members and why they were popular.
We knew this would significantly cut down administration around our education programme and free up staff to focus on other areas of work. But it also gave us a running analysis of the health of the education programme through the analytic reports. So it's helped us to plan for the future too.
